OCURA 2026 Conference Sparkle in Sync wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Whether you’re helping with check-in or guiding attendees between buildings, you’re making this conference happen.
What You’ll Do: Volunteers will be assigned to one or more shifts across the day based on your availability. Roles include registration desk, room monitoring, wayfinding between Johnson Hall and the Library, food and refreshments, A/V support, photography, and setup/breakdown.
What You Get Free snacks and drinks all day, swags, a signed certificate of service, and the chance to be part of OCURA first student-led Conference from the inside.
Volunteer with Us
Shifts
- Morning Setup: 7:30 – 9:00 AM
- Morning Program: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Program: 12:30 – 4:25 PM
- Closing & Breakdown: 4:25 – 5:30 PM
You can sign up for one shift or the full day. No one works more than 4 hours straight.
What to Know
- Wear comfortable shoes! You’ll be on your feet and moving between Johnson Hall and the Library
- Arrive 15 minutes before your shift for a quick briefing
- Check your email the week of the conference for your assignment and any updates.
