Membership
OCURA membership is open to all Occidental College undergraduates (and interested external members on a case-by-case basis) who demonstrate interest in the organization. There are no GPA requirements, no application (except to be part of our mailing list), and no fees.
Active membership requires attending at least one (1) general body meeting or participating in at least one (1) OCURA-sponsored event per semester. Active members earn the right to vote in OCURA elections, run for executive board positions (provided that they have been an Associate for at least a term), and vote on constitutional amendments.
Faculty, staff, and administrators are also eligible for membership.

Attend an event:
Join any general body meeting, RDS workshop, or OCURA community event. No RSVP required for most events.
Volunteer for the inaugural student-led OCURA Conference:
Help run our annual conference as a registration volunteer, session moderator, A/V technician, or coordinator.

@oxy.cura for event announcements, research spotlights, and behind-the-scenes content.
Apply for the Executive Board:
Officer recruitment opens at the start of each Fall semester or the previous Spring. Applications are posted on Instagram, via email, and all around campus! You will not miss it.

Support Us on Day of Oxy
OCURA is entirely student-run, and every dollar makes a difference. Donations through Day of Oxy help us fund conference supplies, award prizes for outstanding research, host workshops throughout the year, and keep all of our events free and open to every student.
