Mission
Occidental College Undergraduate Research Association (OCURA) aims to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and interdisciplinary research community. We are founded on the belief that the pursuit of knowledge is a cornerstone of the undergraduate experience and that every student should have the opportunity to engage in the creation of that knowledge.
What We Do
Workshops & Events
Our Researcher Development Series (RDS) offers hands-on skill-building sessions on topics like finding mentors, applying to REUs, academic writing, and targeted suppoprt for marginalized identities.
Annual OCURA Conference
Our flagship conference showcases student research across all disciplines, with keynote speakers, poster sessions, oral presentations, and awards.
